Scalare Partners Holdings Limited has launched EquityRoom, a new Australian-built platform designed to streamline the capital raising process for startups. The announcement represents a strategic expansion into recurring revenue and marks the company’s evolution beyond its core advisory and execution services for founders and investors.

EquityRoom consolidates the fragmented tools founders typically use during capital raises, combining secure data rooms, investor readiness tools, due diligence preparation, investor management, and post-raise equity administration within a single platform. The software addresses a genuine pain point in the fundraising process, replacing the ad-hoc assembly of shared drives, spreadsheets, email threads and standalone tools that currently characterise the space. The platform’s four-stage structure around the fundraising journey, Organise, Prepare, Raise and Grow, suggests a thoughtful design that follows founder workflows from preparation through cap table management and shareholder communications.

The commercial traction is noteworthy for a product soft-launched in September 2026. EquityRoom now serves 11 paying customers with 35 additional companies in trial mode, of which 45 are independent of Scalare and its directors. This early adoption rate, achieved within weeks of launch, indicates genuine market demand for the product category and suggests the platform resonates with its target user base.

Scalare’s ownership structure reflects confidence in the opportunity. The company holds a 51% stake in EquityRoom Pty Ltd while founder and Scalare Partner Tim Griffiths holds 49%. Griffiths brings credible entrepreneurial credentials to the role, having founded Xref and taken it to an ASX listing, spent five years at Benchmark Capital in the US and London, and operated as a Scalare Partner since 2021. This pedigree reduces execution risk relative to a founder-led company at an earlier stage.

The revenue model is subscription-based with pricing scaled by company stage and feature usage. Management expects EquityRoom to become a scalable recurring revenue stream while strengthening relationships with founders across Scalare’s ecosystem, including companies raising capital through InHouse Ventures, Fishburners and the Australian Technologies Competition, as well as potential Scalare investee companies. This network effect underpins the strategic logic of the investment.

Scalare has funded the platform’s development from existing resources without requiring material external capital, and management states no further material funding is required over the next 12 months. This self-funding approach suggests either strong cash generation within Scalare or disciplined execution, or both.

The company has guided that EquityRoom will not have a material impact on Scalare’s financial results in the current financial year, setting expectations appropriately and indicating the platform remains in early-stage growth. Investors should monitor customer acquisition and revenue metrics in coming quarterly updates to assess whether EquityRoom is tracking toward the recurring revenue scale Scalare has identified as its opportunity.
