Pro Medicus Limited has secured a significant 7-year contract valued at A$25 million with Valley Health, a six-hospital healthcare system spanning Virginia and West Virginia. The deal marks a substantial win for the company’s cloud-based Visage 7 imaging platform in the North American market and demonstrates continued momentum in PME’s transformation toward a cloud-first strategy.
The contract encompasses the full scope of PME’s integrated imaging offering. Valley Health will deploy Visage 7 Viewer, Visage 7 Workflow, Visage 7 Open Archive, and Visage 7 Cardiology Imaging, with implementation planned for the cloud. The contract also includes migration of Valley Health’s existing PACS archive to Visage 7 Open Archive and image distribution into their electronic health record system. Go-live is targeted for the first quarter of 2027.
The significance of this contract extends beyond the headline value. The adoption of the full “Full Stack Plus One” solution, which combines the three core Visage products with the addition of cardiology imaging, reflects a trend PME management sees accelerating across North American healthcare systems. Hospital groups are increasingly consolidating their disparate imaging systems into unified enterprise platforms rather than maintaining multiple legacy systems. This shift plays directly into PME’s competitive strengths and product roadmap.
The transaction-based revenue model built into the contract provides additional upside potential beyond the base A$25 million commitment. This structure aligns PME’s revenue with Valley Health’s usage, creating an incentive for deeper system adoption and platform expansion over the contract term. CEO Dr Sam Hupert highlighted that the company’s pipeline remains strong across all market segments and noted growing interest in the integrated “Full Stack Plus One” offering, suggesting this Valley Health contract is part of a broader market acceptance of PME’s positioning.
For investors, this contract validates PME’s cloud strategy and demonstrates continued North American market penetration. The company now counts this Virginia-based hospital system among existing customers in the region, building both installed base and recurring revenue potential. The move toward consolidated imaging platforms also creates opportunities for PME to cross-sell additional specialty modules like cardiology to existing customers, expanding wallet share.
Investors should monitor the Valley Health implementation through to its Q1 2027 go-live milestone and watch for any commentary regarding the transaction-based revenue realisation from the contract. Further contract announcements featuring the “Full Stack Plus One” offering would indicate sustained adoption of PME’s unified platform strategy. This announcement has been identified as price sensitive and flagged as material by the ASX.
