Its product range spans bank accounts, home and personal loans, credit cards, superannuation, insurance, investments, share trading, margin lending, and private banking on the consumer side, alongside payment solutions, foreign exchange, international money transfers, and commercial and agribusiness lending for business customers. Institutional clients are served through corporate and structured finance, transaction banking, and trade and supply chain finance offerings. Formerly known as Bank of New South Wales, the company adopted its current name in October 1982. Founded in 1817, Westpac Banking Corporation is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
