Macquarie Group Limited is a diversified financial services company operating across Australia, New Zealand, the Americas, Europe, the Middle East, Africa, and Asia through four business segments. Its Macquarie Asset Management segment delivers investment solutions spanning real assets, real estate, credit, equities, multi-asset and secondaries strategies. The Banking and Financial Services segment covers personal banking products including home loans, car loans, transaction and savings accounts, and credit cards, alongside wealth management, financial advisory, private banking, and superannuation offerings, as well as deposit, lending, and payment solutions for business clients. The Commodities and Global Markets segment serves corporate and institutional clients with capital and financing, risk management, and physical execution and logistics across power, gas, emissions, agriculture, oil, and resources sectors.
The Macquarie Capital segment rounds out the group by providing advisory and capital raising services together with specialist investing across private credit, private equity, real estate, growth equity, venture capital, and infrastructure and energy projects, and also operates a brokerage business encompassing equity research, sales, execution, and corporate access. Founded in 1969, Macquarie Group is headquartered in Sydney, Australia.
